I haven't had he time to actually get in and build a higher power version of the car yet but I can tell you the best way for this car.
Simply add power parts, don't worry the transmission won't mess up, adding RPM adds to the gear range so the numbers won't be affected, remove a weight reduction or two the car is balanced for its current weight so that may lead to some tire load issues if you start getting some red outside fronts in low speed turns add one click to the front damper compression number.
