I just finished that one. I'm trying to get a sunray effect but its not coming out right at the moment.

i know what effect your trying to get, but im not sure i like how it gets really yellow on the left side, you lose all of the definition in the rock, keep experimenting youll eventually get the effect you want

28 hours? holy crap. what are your system specs? I render on my desktop then send the save file to my laptop (pentium 4 3.02 GHz) for rendering. I also use the laptop to convert my dvd rips to divx

i have a 1.3 ghz amd w/ 128mb radeon 9200 video card and 256 ram...

dont forget i was talking on msn...running media player and posting on gtp mind you which added to the time, if i just let my computer it wouldnt have taken nearly that amount of time

btw...

if im doing a super long render like a movie or something ill send it to my other computer that has a 900 mhz pentium 3 with 128 mb ram and some ****ty video card...i dont do anything else on that but render so when i do a big render it doesnt haug my system

you should try encoding DVDs. big resource hog, it runs at 100% for like 4 hours+ and nothign else works....

Here's one I uploaded at deviantART but isn't showing up. I call it... Cliffhanger.(don't ask why). Comments?

EDIT: I know there's alot of gray blank spots. But that's how it turned out when I rendered it.

lol when i rendered my ferrari thats what it was like for 28 hours or whatever...100%...i couldnt do a thing talking on msn was a pain and listening to music made my computer sooooooooo slow lol

i like it, but about the grey spots try to give it a texture, ive never tried rendering using terragen but im sure theres a way to give it a texture
