4 cylinder camry faster than V6?

I have seen many reviews of the 190hp V6 Camry.Its slow! The car only goes 128. Drag limited. My grandma owns a standard 4 cylinder camry. 2004 I believe. Only 157hp. And I believe that it is faster than the V6 version. The CPU cuts it off at 120 though..but it is still accelerating! If anyone out there could make a video between a 4 cylinder Camry and a V6 Camry that would be awsome. Heres my video I made last night with the 4 cylinder. Tell me that its not fast for a 4 banger. :)

Nice observation. I think my Hyundai's a 4banger as well, and got it up to 130ish on the freeway a few months back, but I do believe that's darn fast for a smallerish car.
 
I know. I'm amazed at the power it has...its faster..(above 90) than our Maxima with the old 300ZX motor(221hp) Granted..my truck will out run them all.:)

Yes, your truck will outrun anything above 100mph, considering how it's got 3 Turbonators and (possibly soon) going to have 600hp.

And it has the Cd of David Coulthard's chin.

Got a K&N cold air intake,cams,Superchip,Custom built Supercharger(parents friends),New exhaust system,Radial Drag tires and LSD.Dyno tested at 540 rwhp. Currently in the shop getting some more done to it. Driving around in the Camry for now. I'll post a pic of the new motor next week.

A tractor perhaps?

and honestly..
I would really HOPE a 540RWHP truck would outrun a 221HP maxima...

if you have actually tested that theory..you've got problems..

That wasn't clever, nor did it help lighten up the thread.

Anyway...same car + different engines = same Cd and aerodynamic profile + different engines = more powerful engine provides higher top speed. Sorry, that's just the way physics work. :)
 
I am looking forward to pictures, oh and a dyno read out please.

Next week.

omg i saw teh initial d cartoon and i wuz like WOAH DEY BE S1D3W4YZ DAWG!!1!1 an den i did dorifto in mah civic but i thnk teh supenshun mite be broke cuz i hit a kerb at leik 50 miles an hour. :crazy: i gonna fix dat, an den i gonna add a spoiler, underglo, cone air filter (to use teh cold air from teh ingin bay), 20 inch rims, a cstom bodykit, and sum nos bottles. den i shuld be abel to dirft better. :sly:
