Did you watch the video? The roads looked fairly busy to me.

Very cool, but quite irresponsible IMO. Do you really think he'll be able to hit the brakes in time if Standard235 gets in his way!?

Yes, I watched the video. The problem is that if you are under 18 you not only can't get a drivers license in India, but it is illegal to drive on public roads.

When I read your previous post I got the impression you though he was restricted to private roads. While legally he is, he obviousley wasn't in the video.

Looks dangerous, he's weaving across the road and straying outside the confines of the tarmac. He wasn't paying attention to the road for long periods of time, his reactions didn't seem very good and he wasn't keeping up with traffic. I'm also not sure if his hazard awareness would be very good and if he'd actually be able to perform an emergency stop if need be. I agree with ExigeExcel, irresponsible.

I know that I wouldn't want to be on the same road as a 4-year old driving a truck. He didn't seem to pay enough attention to the road, he drifts around, and there was a lot of honking that he wasn't doing.

IMHO, if you are underaged, stay off the damn roads, and if you really want to drive, practice in a field or on dirt backroads that get very little traffic.

I'd like to see how he takes off, how he works with leeting go off the clutch 'cus I mess up always at that part together with standing up on a hill with the rear down and try to let off the clutch and while you're doing it also letting go the handbrake, it's like there's a cone just behind the wheel and you're on a steep hill, try to take off without going back and hitting the cone. Those are my problems.

Anyway, I hope to see this kid in F1 when he's 16

If he's driving 4 hours everyday, I would have expected a lot better control.

He can drive 43 miles per hour? Not sure I want to be near him at those speeds.

Well, for a 4 year old, it wasnt that bad. But I want to know whos idea it was to put a 4 year old on the road in the first place? I really don't think children that young have enough of an attention span to really keep control of the vehicle and to keep an eye on the road...

I don't get it, why would the father make his 4 year old drive in the first place? Is he some kind of raging alchoholic and lost his license or something? I just can't see the justification in sticking a child behind the wheel and letting him drive on public roads.

Maybe the father is incapable of driving due to an injury?

The thing is fine people younger then legal driving age may well be able to drive but are they REALLY? mature enough and have an understanding of responsibility?

At a young age I always wondered why I couldnt drive then because I always thought i was able enough but having recently passed my test I realise a lot of people over that age are careless enough let alone younger people especially children.

I personally drove stick with 9 years,the car was Yugo Koral ,it's kinda normal in my family,my father is supporting me in those kind of things,i also drove offroad with Lada Niva while 13,but this kid is truely amazing!

I have only been driving for a couple of months but thats good. I also agree he probably wont be able to handle an emergency situation. Just the other day y nx almost went into a tree with me in it. I hit a large puddle in the street downhill doing about fifty, INTO A CORNER, lucky, the nx has excellent handling and breaking so i was able to slow down right after hydroplaning over the puddle and turn midway into the corner, almost hitting dirt. I thought i was pretty slick.

So letting his 4 year old son drive is a good solution? If he's willing to modify the car for his son to drive it, then why couldn't he modify it so he could still drive with his disability?

All I can see is this kid getting scared and clutching onto his Tickle-Me-Elmo doll as his vehicle snow plows through a group of people.
