Not what i was doing when i was four :sly:, the kid's got at least one good driver for a parent - good effort despite the disqualification whoever it was..

Just watched it again, this time paying close attention to the steering wheel movements of the DFGT the kid is using, compared to the wheel in the X2010 on screen. The vid is without doubt REAL.

you can keep hearing the steering wheel cable motor whining.. higher end wheels have a powered cable pulley system (used to tug the wheel for crashing effects, but also can auto steer steer the wheel) ...this was a replay of the run and the steering wheel auto turned based on what was happening in the replay... all the lil kid had to do is hold onto the wheel and it turns it for him.

dhandes
And still better than bob.

👍👍👍 this made my day :D

PS. I do belive its real, but it can be fake also (will never know for sure) but new generation kids do some amazing stuff for real!

How do you do that?

wasnt that one of the comments on the video's page?? none the less, replays dont have force feedback. The wheel doesnt move during replays or demo videos. And the demo video for that Challenge doesnt set a time of 2m38s.

He's better than GT5's AI anyway:lol:

Probably real, seeing as my 5 year old cousin can actually beat me around the Nurburgring, at times:D

If it is real, they have the FF turned completely off, or down to 1 at the very most. I have a DFGT and keep FF set at 7, and you really need a death grip on the wheel while driving the X2010.

It's probably fake, pretty much all these sorts of things tend to be.

Haha how can it possibly be fake! Unless you think the kid isn't a real kid either, a 3d render maybe?
His movements correlate perfectly to the car driving on screen.

Even if we assume it is definitely "fake" if you were to hook up that fake wheel and pedals to a real gt5, the exact same thing would happen on the screen as is shown.

I think it's real, but with some tweaking, the kid obviously doesn't reach the pedal, the dad is most likely breaking and accelerating for him and the kid just have to steer

and I agree the FFB must be off, or the think would send the kid flying :sly:

The video is real! It is not hard to see that, and you can see the kid fighting with the FF when the speeds pick up while he is going straight. Not to mention that the kid had decent control of the wheel.

The steering may be the kid but those feet look awfully big to be the feet of a 4 year old.

how can any of you guys say this is fake?? all of the movements from the wheel to to his inputs are exact, replays dont give you any sort of wheel FF and logitech wheels make that noise... wtf, his feet are too big???? lmfao... i have both a logitech dfgt wheel and g27, there is a slight delay in transition to screen, the kid made that lap..why are people so negative??

Um 4 year old's feet can't reach the ground from that height. Either that or he is totally out of proportion and wears a size 12.

Why isn't "why is there no sound" one of the options on your poll?

I honestly have my doubts, but if it's real then massive props to the kid! He's destined to be the greatest driver the world has evar seen ;)
