Umm, can we keep it real here at all now?? No offense, but not everyone here is building hybrids and screaming at 400 mph...

A good thought though is that some of the best stuff can happen while on the quest to 100%.

How about a drift around a corner amongst the other cars, without hitting any of them and maintaining your course and track/race position?? That would make for some killer replay angles, don't you think??

But 450 mph sounds super great!! :burnout:

True captain kirk, but if you've been at 100% since last September of your favorite game, you've got to find new things to do in it. Hence the hybrid movement. I never use the hybrids to win races because I can't beat it myself, I've already won everything. Hybrids allow me to go pure bonkers, and its fun driving a 470,000 hp diablo! :D

I made a 14,000HP MR2 GTS, it goes up to about 660mph, and in 5th, the speedo goes from 80 to top(about 208mph) in about a tenth of a second. Only problem is that turning right at the beggining of the corner makes it wipe out sometimes, or wigle side to side, hitting the wall, and then wipeing out. No DF or grip mods, just 5.5 F1s on it.

Well, one of the first things for a hybrid i would do is a GT40. It wouldn't be all 10,000 HP, but it would be moderate and easy to handle. I am not sure of some good numbers and all that for it, but it would be cool I think. But hey, I'm a GT40 fan... :cheeburga :burnout:

I tryed making a GT40 hybrid...downforce is more on the front than the back and it wipes out around 300mph. So you'll have to change the DF.

MAZKID, i have played the game for a while and i have never done the drift part, what is it and how do i create a MR2 with that many hp and that goes that fast? thanks

Drifting is basicly powersliding, having the back of the car swing out around the corners and holding it so you don't wipe out but continue sideways and then strait down the straitaway.

And the MR-2 is a hybrid, if you're doing hybrids, just go into the ini file of the car, go to line 440, and change the 1 to like 8000(that = power X 8) or what ever you want. I put the MR2 at 13000, or X13.

And I made a ZZ2 last night, 4wd, F1 tires(yea yea I know, different sizes, but it works)and line 440 is set to 15000. It's 15360HP, and I made it a wheelie car, it goes up to 3800MPH, and lap times(test track, duh) are around 25sec. Now that's fast...

hybrids are cool, but if i had the technology, i would make a realistic car. I would add some horses but not astronomicle like your +10,000hp cars. I mostly would work on the outside apperances.

Most of my cars are under 1000hp, but my limit is 4000hp, and my speed cars that are 15000hp.

DUDE!!!!! That is so great!!!!!

That really brightened me up! I am so thrilled about seeing one in person now. I have been wanting to go look at the old ones for a while now. I will still do that, but Ford is high on my list now!!

Thanks ethanol!!!! :burnout::burnout::burnout:

Captainkirk - DeNada. I missed going to the Detroit Autoshow, so I didn't get to see one "in the flesh", but it is a beautiful piece of machinery.

And, just to keep this tread on topic - I wonder if it could drift at 450 mph? :)

I ONLY make realistic hybrids , no not even once i made any 5000+ hp cars that grip asphalt like glue...

I have SLK 230 with CLK 55s engnine , silvia S15 with RB26DETT Vspec II etc. cars... 4WD MR2 with SUPRA's engine , Viper with engine form Zonda C12S , C12S with engine form Viper concept , Demio with 1.8T from audi and 4WD , Miata with rotary engine form RX7 etc.

I've made a ton of awsome cars. I made a Rotory Miata LS useing the RX-8 engine, NSX with Arta NSX engine, 328i with the stock engine just made faster(really good drifter), Demio with Miata LS engine, 3.2CL with NSX engine, RX-7 RS with 787B, Accord with 3.2 CL engine, Miata 89 opt with RX-7 RZ engine, just a ton of cars.
Most are under 4,000hp, or over 14,000hp.
