So I was curious what I posted in this thread last and then realized I never answered a question from said post, and to put it all into context
1. I was born in the house I was raised in, rather than at a hospital.
2. I have OCD (real OCD, which isn't Rainman OCD)
3. I could not read till I was almost 10 years old.
4. I could navigate DOS when I was 4.
5. I have completed Super Metroid in 48 minutes.
How does that work out?
While I couldn't read, I did know my alphabet and could recognize strings of characters and their importance in the command line. It was just entirely memory, my dad would do something and I'd watch on screen and just emulate it later if I needed to do something, like getting through directories and such.
Which meant the moment I learned to read, I started handling the Windows install procedure when a computer would need a new install. Oh the joys of multiple floppies (later ATAPI setup from a floppy) and fdisk.
More facts now? Sure.
6. I couldn't tell a Honda from a Toyota (without reading a badge) till I was almost 17.
7. Since getting my new camera in July '11, I've taken about 15,000 pictures.
8. 10 years ago, the idea of me having a German car would have been madness.
9. I own at least 20 pairs of shoes.
10. You can always see a clock in my apartment, regardless of spot.
