5 undeletable gifts in community

hi, I recieved 5 chrome paints yesterday and decided to copy the file and back up. I then stupidly bought a SLR mcclaren (boring car) then decided to load the backup file because I didnt like the car.

Anywho I lost the 5 chrome paints but now I cant delete the gift items I got or recieve them. So now Ive always got a star next to community beneath profile. I tried deleting them but it says "upload failed" I tried clearing cache but that didnt work

I now permanently have 5 chrome gifts sitting in the community > gifts section which I cant do anything about.

Be careful when recieving gifts
 
I was thinking that........im at level 26 a spec and level 10 b spec........took me a good 2 months of part time playing....ah well theres always the whole of summer when I get a proper wheel! Stupid mistake tampering and copying files!
 
Ask some one to send another gift to you see if that pushes the 5 through . Or just give it time and they may come through
 
more likely to add to it......but ill try.......i really cant be bothered to start again to tell you the truth......
 
Thats why i never duplicate cars/paints/tickets on my main account. i send whatever i want duplicated to another account. My third account is really just storage. I got alot of my zero mile cars there and if i want to use one or trade one, i will duplicate it from that account to send it off.

Thats my advice, start another account just to duplicate stuff.
 
problem fixed I sent more gifts recieve them all and got my chrome back. If I do trade next time Ill do it proper....instead of trying to be smart and keep the goods lol. Ill just accept the trade.

Its good to give....Ive gifted cars to 5 people on my list. Cars I didnt need. 👍
