I don't think there is a '57 Vette in GT5. The only version of that body style in the game is the Art Morrison Corvette '60 (which has the double-headlamp front clip vs. single headlamp per side).

The closest body style to the 57 is the Morrison Corvette custom car with a 1960 body style. I believe it comes in only one color. It can be painted but when the paint is added the white inset is painted also. The '54 can't be painted and doesn't have the same body style as the '57.
