60 fps ?!

Hi friends
I read somethere that GT1 had a Hi-Fi mode with 60fps & I saw this video today.
Was GT1 really had a 60fps mode ?!!

Yep. You have to beat the last Gran Turismo League championship to acces it. You can take any car to race the Hi-Fi mode, but you can only choose between Clubman, R5 and SSR11 as tracks to race on. The PSX didn't have the RAM to run any other tracks in Hi-Fi

That was an amazing job to create a 60fps racing on that hardware !!
Even Forza 1 on Xbox was 30fps.

It's also possible in the Arcade Mode of the game too.You have to finish all the 8 tracks with all 3 classes on Hard, that's the last Arcade Mode reward.
