I screwed up the thread title large.....

it is supposed to say The 60 Second Posting Restriction That Is In Place

ANYWAY............
I know you JUST put this into place because of a suggestion thread I started up, but you went from having to wait 8 seconds in between posts all the way to a full minute. Can you compromise and maybe make the timelimit 30 secs. A full minute just seems too long.
 
What message were you posting when you ran into the limit?
 
Well now that we've successfully run off the majority of the spam-post hoard, it probably won't make much of a difference what it's set to.

I was trying to help out Streetracer i think it was and we were trying to discuss a topic.I would try to reply, it owuldnt let me, so i just had to keep checking in on it every 3 or 4 mins....

Normally I would suggest using private messaging for something like that, but the PM system becomes slow when you're doing that much communication - especially if you're also trying to browse the forums at the same time.

Kinda wanted it to be out in the open in case other people have the same questions. If we PM it than another thread might pop up later on asking the same thing. This way the information is there for everyone, not just Streetracer in a PM. Get where im coming from? We wernt really talking about anything personal that should on be in a PM.
 
OK, I understand, and LoudMusic has made a good point. I moved the limit down to 30. :)
 
Yes, let the whoring begin. Or not.

Yeah, not. I've noticed that it the filter has caught me a couple times since it was in place.

I haven't actually seen the message yet. I honestly can't even say what it says. It just takes me a little longer to type what say than most I guess... :embarrassed:

I have heaps of windows open at once so I post something in one window type then post in another and I get the message..................

Ahhh, the flaw of design I'm sure. I wish that were the case with everyone. ;)
