True although I like the XK13. The Mark IV is beastly. I don't fancy myself as a bigtime Ford guy, but I do like all of their GT's.

Yeah but the MK I/MK II which is that GT40 model they made standard is more famous than the MK IV and won more than the MK IV. I can see why people would want that historic car to be a premium.

Although I bought this car only recently and took it fro a spin around the 'Ring where I didn't find the interior view to be bad at all. I always have it set to wide, and providing one knows the track I see no reason why a little obscuration is a problem.

Anyway, back on topic, how much does that car go for in the UCD? It's one of the only cars I would buy more than one of to use for different purposes.

I can't find any decent photos to check for myself, but is the '69 GT40's interior that dissimilar to the MKIV ? If they are similar, could PD port a slightly modified MKIV interior into the GT40?

The Gulf livery is legendary, so just for the sake of getting a higher resolution on the graphics I wand that car to be premium.

I still don't get why PD included the standard cars. They've caused nothing but confusion and complaints about them. What's even more incredible is that some people actually like them. I've never even looked their way except for the races where you have to use 'em, simply because they look and sound almost as bad as in GT4.

Because 200 cars total would have angered people more than 800 cars that are a bit wonky.

I quite like the standards iv very rarely touched premiums but then again i drive bumper cam and dnt rly watch replays or play with photomode much as i like to drive as much as possible :-)
Back on topic the gulf gt40 is an epic iconic car and i wud drive it even if it was gt1 quality graphics

That GT40 is an amazing car,weighs nothing and is extremely quick through all the gears.
