A guy at another forum thought I was cheating with better tyres in my preious video because I didn't showed the tyres on the screen and my driving line was too smooth for being a "sports hard tyre lap", he said I used when racing hard (my lap time in that video was 7:31):

"Another thing is, I ran this time on slicks with one hand on the wheel, and realized something. You're on racing hards in that 7:31 video. You duped me...though, in the process you pushed me to run even harder on the sport hards to beat your time. I thought you seemed to point your line so easily in that video...and while I was driving on racing hards, I could easily see the car had the exact same characteristic. You just slowed up a bit and ran a clean line to get a sport hard like time. Your a chump...and you've just been owned."

This is just a small bit of the battle we had, if you wan to read it all, check this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-...-nurburgring-laps-info-and-battle-thread.html

Anyway, I finally decided to do a second lap and upload to youtube to prove I'm right and he is wrong, and here it is:

Nice lap. Why don't you just point out to that thread that Dan Holland won the holiday time trial in 7'16 in the C7 on sport hards, that should shut them up :)

I've already done that as well, but he don't believe in those lap times as no video can prove it. I've also uploaded a third video, showing the tyre data before, in the beginning, in the end and after the lap. And now even faster, 7:25.802 :)

Here it is:
