Theres no set number, all thats been confirmed is more than any previouse GT game which means over 600, so 700 is very possible and maybe even more, KY did say he will be adding cars right up to the last minuet. I have my fingers crossed for the TVR Sagaris and the GT race version.

well since GT4 can use the HDD, the number might grow even after its release date. and im hoping the support from PD for GT4 will go on for many years. how many cars usually come out yearly? 30-40? if they have a team for modelling new cars, they should have plenty of time to model old cars too then once the game comes out. so eventually, yamauchis dream might become a reality. of a GT game featuring every car ever made.

Boy, CobraGT has no luck with some threads. Now you know how I feel when I been on other websites that did nothing more but bash on me like I was a wimp in a crowd of hard-asses.

To me, 700 cars in GT would happen. Then again, it may not. So if this one gets locked, I just want to say that... well, we'll see what we get in GT4. This even means if we freeze ourselves in time and thaw out on the day of GT4's release... so be it. In any event, let's just say that 700 may or may not happen. I'm not a voice of reason. Even I know my limits on making such bold predictions. And a prediction like this is like saying Georgia Tech will win over Uconn in the Final Four (of course, Uconn swept Men's and Women's Basketball, even though I'm more into college football). Anyhow, take care, and if this one gets locked, the public told why it was locked.

Yeah - loathe as I am to close threads, I really can't see the point of letting this one live. There are plenty of other 'XXX cars in GT4' threads to go and play in.

I think we can agree that:
- GT4 will have more cars than GT3
- many of us will lose significant parts of our lives to this game, endangering other hobbies, relationships and health.
