I will be participating in a race of 700pp later today but I have no idea where to even start for a solid car. 650pp is usually my max so this would put me out of my comfort zone.

Any suggestions on cars I should try? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Corvette ZR1 RM, has about 690 pp max and has 905 hp after breaking it in.

I have both - haven't tried either one! Which is more stable in high banking?

I like both of them, but I think the ZR1 has the upper hand if it's tuned correctly, like, maybe a higher spring rate in the front.

Thanks to the both of you - I will give them a few laps after lunch to get this figured out. The last thing I want to do is look like a fool on the track...

LOL - that 2J is just plain nuts, crazy fast. IMO almost cheating...

I did give the 787B a run at 700pp and could run a consistent 54.2 at HSR. Going to give the Vette a go to see if there is any major time difference.

The Speed 8 is brilliant - ran 52.1's around HSR - and it only has a six speed tranny. Great fun and it did yield me a victory!

Thanks again for the suggestions guys!

no Sauber C9? it's the surgically accurate one of the group. you can maneuver around anything in it. the ZR1 RM however will knock 'em all off a straight, and it's not bad in corners. 787B is light so quick changes of direction, but the C9 will hold its line better in a turn if you have a good feel for it.

i'd say: 787B is wild and fun to throw around, ZR1 RM is a power behemoth that can actually handle its power, and the C9 is just plain the best handling car there. so, whatever floats your boat, they're all super fun and awesome to drive with different personalities. so, go have fun.
