Lots of fun choices when you restrict the lobby to 450pp and 80's cars. I ran a clean line at the beginning because I knew it would take a lap to warm up the tires. Crazy8 in his Supra ran a better line through a few places but didn't have enough grip to complete the pass on the corners or straight-line speed to overtake me on the straights. I didn't want to push the BTR because once the tires go red it starts drifting and losing speed real fast. Ssyd in his Countach caught up at the end when I eased off to prevent any mistakes. That would've been a fun battle had he stayed close from the beginning.

I host a 450pp race lobby most week nights with different themes announced a few days in advance. More details here:

Racing Soft tires. It keeps the grip a little more even between FF/FR/AWD cars. I may switch things up by limiting to sport soft in the future.

Arg...sometimes the music gets mis-interpreted. I'll see if I can switch out the audio.

Thanks :) I'll also be scouting out your room in the next couple days :D Everyone seems to love doing 500 pp which IMO is just too high for most cars.

Yeah 450 is good for almost all street cars. There are still a few cars that slip in that are faster than the rest of the pack (the NSX for example out races just about everything) but in each race there will always be a handful of cars running at your pace no matter what you pick. I rarely see stragglers unless someone doesn't know their way around a course.

I think he had less grip in general and couldn't follow my line. There is a disparity between cars as to how wide their tires are and how much grip you can make. I call it "skinny tire syndrome". Although the Supra is a nice car, it simply doesn't have the same amount of tire as the racing inspired 911, err I mean BTR. Plus I was running 2.0/5.0 camber on the BTR. The high camber in the rear gave me more mid-corner grip which prevents the back end from swinging around on me.

I'm uploading the video again today sans music so you can hear the sound effects. It will be available in a few hours.
