Any news about the ferrari driver? Even though he was the hated black sheep, his crash looked so much worse. Is he ok?

Yes, he was seen ducking questions about the incident left and right immediately after the wreck.

And not only for the injury. Those guys could've really gave Audi a fierce fight.

As much as I said earlier this year and last year Toyota would win, they still did a good job somewhat. As much as I don't like Davidson for the 2010 incident with Corvette and some of his F1 issues, the guy didn't deserve that.

Let's all just hope that Toyota learns from this, that the French beast come back next year. And that that Audi get ready for a 2013. I only see the world of racing getting better with all the hybrid stuff. 2012- toward 2015 at the least.

Yes, he wasn't injured at all, even gave an interview at Eurosport were he said it was Davidson's fault, what a...

No clue, but his car is much more solid and there is more metal between him and the wall, plus, he had a side impact. The Toyota had several impacts (landing on the rear and hitting the wall head first)

He's fine. Not even a scratch. They could interview him and hear him say, in other words, "It wasn't my fault".

Ladies and Gentleman...

Oh, who am I kidding...

Gentleman, 12 hours have past! We're 50% done! ;)

Half way. As much as I want our GT Academy boys to win, I find myself rooting for Starworks in LMP2.

Quick survey!

Where are you at the moment, what time it is in there and can you stay awake for the rest of the race?

I'd feel like crap right now if I was the crew member who forgot about the wheel nut on the #74 Corvette... Go #73.

ah, thanks for the replies... I guess the facts speaks for themselves, so no comments 👎

Toyota showed some promise that they could take the fight to Audi, but really threw their cars away. Davidson's crash wasn't really through any fault of his own, but Nakajima made a stupid mistake. I would have loved to see what happened had that crash not occurred.

I am onboard a Drillship, sailing from Mauritius to Curacao. Currently in the south atlantic ocean.
Local time is 2a.m and I'm workin nightshift (in front of my laptop with GTP, Radio LeMans and baekdal.com)
I'm planning to stick around 'till the chequerd flag!

Audi #2 is getting a bit closer every lap to the leading #1 car - 48 seconds behind and behind with 1 pit stop (not sure how they are sync'd)

Down to 38 seconds now

Im back from a nap since i actually stayed up to catch the race start. so what happend to the #7?

He got a bit over-excited on a green flag restart and clipped the Deltawing, forcing the black #0 car to retire. Then the Toyota passed to the garages where it took hours to be repaired and back on the track. However, it was then announced as retired with a broken engine.

That black and gold Lotus is a gorgeous car. It looks awesome.

Yes, but please don't call it a Lotus, it's a Lola Toyota. :D
I know it says Lotus on the car, but there's not a lot of Lotus in it.

Which is really sad. Oh well, at least Lotus sacked that Bahar bloke...

I feel sorry for Anthony, may he have a fast recovery. Toyota did well, it was starting to get pretty exciting four hours into the race but that's Le Mans. Since Toyota is out, I'm back cheering for Audi no. 2. Mediocre race right now but I don't want to sleep, the early morning hours are always nice to follow.

I know, but screw it, the black and gold cars of the 70s recall that tradition.
