delta wing doing well on 3:42:612

Yep, they're actually doing pretty well but they're no longer running now. Stopped somewhere at the track with a fire extinguisher fired off and ruined the electronics.

That was it's 3rd lap, it's been stuck out on track ever since, which is worrying. Apparently according to their twitter feed, the fire extinguisher went off, shutting down all the electronics, and it hasn't been recovered yet.

EDIT: Tree'd

Davidson out with a fresh set of tires. Let's see what the TS030 has to offer, Anthony!

77 Porsche off at Ford Chicane.

EDIT crawling back to pits.

So, the #49 car is also out for the rest of the night because they have a gearbox problem. The #55 Porsche also stopped at the Michelin Chicane and been pushed to the back of the barrier.

We could see a penalty being given to the #70 Corvette for missing the red light in the pit lane. It's a Labre Corvette...

Gotta love how the Eurosport commentators are having technical difficulties and can't hear people doing pit interviews so we get two entirely separate conversations to listen to at the same time xD

Multi-class listening.

^Thats why I'm on Radio Le Mans lol

also, Davidson goes ahead of No. 4 Audi with 3:28.295, and Wurz does a 3:26.964, only .158 down on No.2 Audi:dopey:
sorry, mis read timing, it was Loic Duval in Audi 3

And man, isn't there anywhere we can see split times? Do want!
no, because ACO tv production thinks its still 1990.

at least the live timing is a bit improved (albeit, as said, no sector times), and hasn't gone down very five minutes.

Eurosport thinks its an american channel with adverts..

#7 probably calling it a day. They'll get max a flying lap with 5 minutes remaining, but I don't think they'll bother.

I love RLM but I'd much rather see and hear the cars.

Looks like Andre had a really good lap going but every one's being held up by traffic so no one's been able to really stretch their legs and get on with it.

He has one more lap, let's see if he can't kick it now.

3:25.4!!!!!!!!

Man and if it wasn't for that slight hold up at Mulsanne Corner and Arnage it would've been a 24!

Pole for Lotterer with 3:25.453
then No. 2 Audi, No.3 Audi, No. 7 Toyota, No.4 Audi and No.8 Toyota

Role on tomorrows sessions:)

Yeah dude, his run through Porsche was just *muah*

Owkey, actually the reason why the fire extinguisher in the Delta Wing went off is because Krumm hit the curb a little bit too hard at one of the chicane, couldn't recall in the interview. He admitted that it was his fault...

That's a design fault right there....

One thing I've learnt from Audi in the past is that if they set X qualifying time, they're able not only to achieve such pace but to keep it for 24H running strong. Also, they usually improve their best laptime in the actual race. So.....

Could possibly. Now, hopefully the same thing won't happen again for the qualifying sessions today. They're so far showing a good performance and exceeded my expectation.
