Do the nissan neee to change brakes? Because of the weight ratio? Because normally the lmp should not need that. Seems soo
Think it's because a lot of the braking is usually done via the hybrid system. It's just putting all of the strain of the front brakes.

#22 out again, was just a routine change.

They mentioned the front brakes being right on the limit for 24 hours. Rear axle won't have much load during braking weight transfer so the front axle must be doing all the work.

Conspiracy theory:

The racing Gods of 2015 don't like special liveries. Green Bentley retiring at N24, #21 Nissan retiring here, #97 also retiring here.

So, with that (not meaning to jinx anything), does that make a certain Porsche the only likely remaining one by the end of the 24 hours?

Yup. Or the racing gods are trying to make up for Hulkenburg not getting a quality F1 drive yet.

I just had cake, so my body is still ready for more of this race.

Those of you watching Eurosport, which NASCAR driver just tweeted the presenters? I didn't catch the name, but the comment was pretty funny.

Rear has about 15% of the load + Aero. The Aero is approximately 37% of the load weight in the rear at 150 MPH, and they are squares... so at 150 MPH the rear rears have about 52% of the weight load, which is 450kg which is 225kg per tire at the rear with I think it was 2Gs of braking force..

Corvette #64 is the last GTE car with an onboard camera still running on the official stream. :ouch:

What was it?

#9 into the back of a Ferrari.

Might have race between Hartley in the #17 Porsche and Albuquerque now for 3rd.

That was close. Toyota was nearly sent out with it's door not shut properly. Luckily, someone from the garage spotted it on the TV monitor and instructed the pit crew to close it.

It was the Vette, but I suppose it's still the Ferraris fault :sly:

The #64? Any noticable damage? If so, leave it to Audi to cost the lower classes a run at their own victory.

#98 getting an all-round checkup. Front end looking extremely rough.

It wasn't a NASCAR driver - They said it was a 'NASCAR style' tweet. 👍

Damn. Those Toyota... Why wasn't it bleeping inside?
