I think so too. The Ford's taillights were going absolutely berserk down the Mulsanne when they were onboard with the Corvette, so rationally, it would be a camera illusion.

EDIT: It is indeed. LED refresh rate too fast for human eyes to see, but camera lenses can pick it up just fine.
 
Good morning, GTPlaneteers (or at least morning to my fellow American GTP'ers)! How you liking Le Mans 2018 so far?

The race coverage on Velocity is pretty good, I guess. It seems quick and sudden with no real notice for when it's time for commercials. I otherwise think the coverage is okay.

I still keep thinking... "if not now, then when?" ...in regards to Toyota. I just wonder if Toyota can finally win Le Mans considering Le Mans is Toyota's House of Horrors. Awesome looking cars (not just the Toyotas)! It's still early, so anything can happen.
 
The WEC stream is down for me. Complete catastrophe!

It's a discrepancy in the refresh rate of the camera compared to the light.

Same reason stuff like this happens.

GTE Pro/Am is keeping the action alive. LMP1 is pretty much how I would thought it was going to be, with Toyota being the only team to have more pace, then the privateers. But I hope Toyota can finally win. I've been rooting for them since they started WEC.

ByKolles are 7th in class? Are they underperforming or just playing it safe?

Edit: 26 seconds off definitely isn't playing it safe. Something's up there.
 
Wainwright in the #86 Gulf Porsche bins it in Indianapolis, almost the same way as Sven Müller in qualy.
 
I’ve seen lots of instances where it looks like the brake lights are going bezerk, flashing like the rain light or something - but the corvette is wired, it’s just a single wink, only once in a while. Figured it was the camera, but it’s still a little odd

Yup #86 lost at Indianopolis, very similar to the #94 on Thursday, and into the tyres too.

They started last because the car had a problem before the formation lap.
 
That Clearwater Ferrari is a big middle-finger to those GT Sport players who hate chrome liveries. The Proton Competition Porsche is as well, to some extent.

To be honest, ByKolles isn't going anywhere. They've been at it for years now without any hint of succes in their program. I bet they won't last until midnight.
 
#11 SMP is shown as on an outlap according to the timing, it has dropped 13 laps (about 3 quarters of an hour).
 
Seems like everyone accumulated too much time penalties and had to burn them. :lol:

Toyota and Ford have official onboards on YouTube, don't know if anybody else does though. Porsche used to have onboards on their website, but I don't know if they have those this year.
 
Loving the blind Toyota fanboyism about Lotterer at the start, the Toyota forced him off...
 
Not particularly, but hey-ho, each to their own. Wouldn't call it blind "fanboysim" either buy hey...

Not sure what the #8(?) was supposed to do differently, is was going to be a tight one, contact or not with Lotterer going out onto the dirt. Either way, it was a move that didn't need to happen, least not on the 1st lap and corner...
