8HR motorcycles ... ?

Does anyone know the general specs for each of the 8HR special motorcycles?

I thought I was running well on the Presto R1, but then set even better lap times with the CBR1000RRW. I can't ride the Yoshimura GSXR, Moriwaki CBR, or Trick Star ZX10R.

Do I just have to run them all and see which one I do best on? or do they have individual strengths and weaknesses?

I'm asking because I'm getting pwned on the 'special festival.' I can't seem to get better than 2nd on Motegi or Valencia.
 
At the moment, this is how my 8H bikes stack up for laptimes at Valencia.

7 Honda CBR1000 1:35.483
YSP R1 +0.760
Yoshimura GSXR1000 +0.344
Moriwaki CBR1000 +0.294
TrickStar ZX10 +1.137

I just put in a flyer on the 7 Honda and can't seem to get around on the ZX10.
 
Yah, I just tried the race on Valenica with the 10R and ended up 2nd as usual ....

... but i was 20 seconds behind the leader!!!!

This is getting to me ... am I that bad of a rider?

Yeah, best to avoid the Trick★Star 10R as it belongs to a lesser racing category (XX-F Div.1) than the other bikes included in the game. Incidentally, it placed 42nd in the 8H.
 
The 7 Honda seems to be the best one. It's the factory ride and received even more attention than the Moriwaki machine. I'm not sure about the specs, though, other than that the power output is supposed to be around 200 hp.

I just unlocked the Trick*Star a short while ago, but I generally don't like the Kawasakis and I haven't heard much good about the Trick*Star. Since you have the 7 Honda, I would stick to that and leave the Kawasaki alone.

Yah, I ended up easily taking 1st at Valencia with the 7Honda, due to some serisous AI stupidity. I've got all the 'special' motorcycles, just unable to ride them effectively.

The CBR1000RRW is probably the most powerful out of the three. Due to some rule changes a few years ago, it was allowed to use a new V-5 setup without any weight penalty over the 4 cyclinder setup. Honda claims that it makes over 250hp, but has not really divulged on the exact specs. The only thing we know for sure is it's 990cc, 5 cyclinder setup (3 front and 2 back, of the same diameter) and it's angle between the cyclinders.

Between the JSB and SBK series, the JSB allows for less modifications. So it's easy to understand why the 7 star is so dominate over the rest of the bikes.

I think you have your bikes mixed up.
