I go with the 908. Closed prototypes are much more sexier then those open ones and the Team Oreca Matmut, which also comes in a brilliant chrome effect color was able to win the Lemans series, both constructeur and pilot this year, all though they lost at 24h of Lemans, they were able to win other endurance races. Audi with their R15 Plus came in 5th overall.

Yeah, Peugeot has won the overall Intercontinental Le Mans cup. :)
 
I bought the Blue one. The other one looks way too tacky lol.


Lol I got the tacky one because it's a race car and I like them a little wild looking. Sad part is I find myself using the free Minolta more. Faster and seems to handle better. But I am gonna work on getting use to the 908. I love the way it looks.

I don't tend to use the standard cars... they just seem really bad. Premiums all the way - as I like to use cockpit view everytime...
 
have the r10 stealh and the 787B stealth,787 is the winner for me tho r10 accels slower then the 787.

Yeah I got addicted to collecting standards but for my races I use the premiums whenever possible because I like the cockpit view, especially in the 908!

I let my Bobs use the Minolta for pretty much everything though.
 
I tuned both the stealth 787b and the 908 to the max and I managed to be half a sec faster with the Peugeot at 'Like the Wind', even though that the 908 is heavier and ends up with 5 hp less then a maxed out 787 but the 908 must have some real sick cw :drool:

I've got both Peugeots , and I would even go for another to spare the others from this pseudo rigidity repair stuff.
I prefer the Oreca Matmut, because they won the championship, it's team Oreca (Dodge Viper Oreca!!!, former 24h winner) and it's fancy chrome paint

The only thing that I hate, when using them in arcade mode, no matter which ai level I set, you always get GT2 cars as opponents, which is just stupid and wrong. Using a tuned car will give you old c group opponents. Also not that much authentic, but at least challenging.
A race against a Toyota GT1, Bentley Speed 8, Audi R8 and R10 and the Pescarolos, that would be nice. Just like in the good ol' GT4 days, were those all met in several tournaments.
Any chance how to make this possible?

Also the (Snake) R15 Plus would be great as a direct comparison. PD needs to bring it. :grumpy:

PD, remove backfire from 908 and R10... it's wrong!
 
I just bought an Audi R10. I swear, this thing will burn the tires if you gun it even at 115mph. I seriously don't understand the point of its power because it only seems useful at top speed. Any courses requiring a lot of technical maneuvering only allow for half-throttle on this thing, if that.
 
The Oreca one seems more cheerful than the serious factory squad colours of the blue.

In real life, im a major Audi fan, but the Peugeot is faster, and better looking.
