Seth. Come on. You know I'm in the mclaren. :)

Yup. You have been missing the last two races of season 2. Glad you are on for season 3. Btw, youve got mail! ;)

I'd be very interested in this series. I've got 2 friends who are both quite good and would probably like to run as well. We'll do the GTS class I suppose.

Just a couple quick questions though.
How many races and what kind've tire regs?

Medium and soft tires for the races. Probably 12 rounds, weekly.

OK, cool. How soon would you say you can have the series ready to start?

Im trying to get the OP looking nice, but I'll need someone with some photoshop skills. It will be ready to go after that and a decision is made on race day/time!

I want that 572hp Monster we like to call the Merc.
Can't wait to do GT1.

I am willing to help anyone doing Panoz for GTS.

I'll let my buddies know about this tomorrow and ask them what cars they'd like too.

You can sign up our PSNs if you want:

Edit: Just wanted to add that Saturday's would be best for us.

The CLK is a great all around car. I think the R390 is king in acceleration and slow corners, the McLaren is better in high speed turns and top speed, but the clk has everything.

Noted! Saturdays are busy right now for me, but clear up in 3 weeks. add freshseth83 to PSN.

If noone else wants it, I'd like to get in on the second CLK-GTR/LM. Failing that I'll take the Zonda in GTS.
Also I can work Photoshop, but am busy for the next week or two. Send me a PM if that's any use about what you want doing.

Great to hear! I will pm you details. Glad to let you run the clk, we will have good GT1 battles with so far 4 confirmed for that class.

So the OP will be finished soon, and then once thats done I am going to recreate this thread in the "racing series" section. If most of the ADR guys return, we will have about 5 drivers in GTS. I'd like more so if interested please express it!

I will be posting onboard videos of tracks that I created. I want people to tell me which layout and track they would prefer to run. First track up is called "Eifel Complex III". Its 6.43 kilometers with 22 turns and an average GT1 lap time of 1:58.000.

I'd like to be in the series. Of the GT1 cars I only have the CLK, and I'd love to run that. If it's not available, I'll try to find the BMW-Mclaren, or try some GTS cars. I'm wondering though, if the BMW v12 lmr wouldn't be very evenly matched with the GT1 cars if reg'd properly. Just a thought. It competed directly with the CLK at le mans irl.

Yeah, at LeMans. But never ran in FIA GT. Thats what this series is about. Plus its really a lmp. You can get the other GT1 cars by doing the 'borrow trick' from me. I will put the R390 and McLaren F1 GTR on share and you can 'permanently borrow' them. Just pm me. I can only hope Porsche will be in GT6 and include the 911 GT1. If no porsche they hopefully have the correct weight for the Panoz Esperante, the Lister Storm and maybe bring back the Lotus Elise GT1!

Heres an onboard of "Eifelspeed VI" with the GTS class Panoz Esperante. A 6.5km track with 20 turns and 3 major straights. Average lap times of 1:59.000 for GT1 cars

A lot less complex then Complex III

True! We tried this track monday when mythic left. I will have two more videos up soon.

Heres an onboard for a track I call "Eifel Speed-esses". It's 5.65km long with 19 turns. Car is Jaguar XJ220 LM, lap times are in the 1:38s for the GTS class.

I don't think I will be able to enter this season, the days/times just don't suit me. Season two was good fun though, good luck with this one.

Were not final on a day/time yet. I'll add a poll soon to see what people prefer. 👍

The OP has been slightly updated to reflect tire usage changes.

On another note, this is an onboard video of the Lamborghini Diablo GT-1 at the original "Eifelring". Eifelring track is a 5.34km circuit with 18 turns and an average lap time of 1:42 in GTS class, with 1:39's being the average time for GT1. It features a huge uphill back straight follower by the very tough 'reverse corkscrew' as I've named it.

Where do you get that track from? That is an awesome place to race! That sweeper at the end of the back-straight reminded me of the Bosch Kurve on the old Österreichring.

Hi there. I'm aboe. I came here as I've been looking for a series to race in and I was hoping to be able to sign up if there are still spaces available.
The car I would like to use is the NSX LM Prototype, please. But I can be flexible and use something else if somebody already has their heart set on it.

My psn: aboe_83
Car: NSX LM Prototype

Youre on my friends list? If so, goto my online profile in gt5 and you can download it as I have it on share.

I will sign you up. No one is using the NSX so its your's if you can make the races. 👍
I have accepted
Are there any restrictions on aids and transmission etc?
Is this a good lap (1:54.1)http://youtu.be/lRBcpSl4RHY
Only traction control and abs are allowed and those are OPTIONAL. 1:54s at Suzuka were about as quick as the GTS class was last season. So if you can get those times with the current regulations, you should be set. You may want to practice on mediums as the pace on those is key to being successful.
