I'm not too sure this goes in here, but if it doesn't someone can move it. Anyways.. I just recently purchased a 1991 Chevy Silverado with a 350 Ci motor. The only thing is.. it has a throttle body.. which i've heard that if you get the right parts, can be pretty darn mean. I was woundering though.. just to change out to a carb.. that would mean I would have to chance the intake, fuel lines and all that, right?! If so.. going to a junk yard for everything exept the intake and carb.. how much would it cost, and would it be worth my time?! I mean.. the trucks kinda doggy and I've been wanting to put a Holly 650 on there with an Performer Intake.. but I'm just stumped as to how much work its going to take and if it will even be worth it. Can I beef up my throttle body just as much as the carb, but with less or more money?! Oh.. and sorry for the long post.
