Hello to everyone! I'm having some problems with my 911 Carrera, it was working fine but from one moment to the other it stopped working with the PS3... The wheel turns on like normal, it does the self calibration normally, starts on PS3 mode without me manually doing it, I can acess the tunning menu on the wheel and adjust with no problem, but for some reason it's not comunicating with the PS3. Everything is phisically connected and on, but the wheel, pedals or wheel buttons are not doing anything on the PS3.

Thank's for reading guys! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Javier.

The driver software is all you need to test that it is working on a pc.

Where can I get the driver from? (I'm not very computer savvy)

or maybe set your sixaxis (dual shock) to be controller no.2

It's been on number, already tried everithing here...

This seems odd...I have to switch to PS3 mode everytime i turn it on.

I was thinking the same, it was always the same for me before this...

Ok, got the driver installed. Now is it supossed to open when I connect the wheel to my pc or something?

Ok, now when I plug the wheel to the pc the PS3 mode light goes away, but the computer does not see the wheel, when I plug it back to the PS3 it won't go into PS3 mode. But if I turn the wheel off and on again while plugged to the PS3 it will start in PS3 mode, but still doesn't work...
Help?

When you connect it to the pc you should hear it connecting (windows sound) then if you go to the control panel and select game controllers, you should see it there..
click on it and bring up the properties . configuration screen should launch the fanatec software..

Have you tried a different USB cable?

I do hear the windows sound. Haven't tried that, I'll give it a shot when I get home tonight and let you know how it goes!
Thank you so much for the pointers!

In case you don't have a manual here is a link for Carrera manual and quick guide. D/l them and have a look maybe it will help you out.

Thank's for the link TV! I gave it a look a few times and can't find anything that would apply... Maybe if I could find a way of restting the wheel or something... I don't know, I guess I'll read it some more maybe I'm mssing something.

Ok so I went and did this, connected the wheel to the PC and everything seems to be working fine.

PC recognizes the wheel.

Wheel responds to FF test.

PC registers every imput from wheel and pedals.

Now I'm really comfused! The wheel seems to be working ok with the PC but yet nothing with the PS3!

If I disconnect the wheel from the PC it wont go into PS3 mode.

When I start the wheel connected to the PS3 it automatically starts in PS3 mode without me having to do it as opposed to when it was working on wich case I had to do it manually every time I turned the wheel on.

When I start the wheel connected to the PC it automatically switches to PC mode.

Has anyone experienced something like this before?
