I agree with you tribolik. AND, it is VERY easy to invert the CSP's. ALL you have to do is simply take the gas circuit and clutch circuit, and switch them on the PCB board, then take the peddle from gas and clutch, and reverse them.
Then find a sturdy way to attach them to your frame. Pesto boomo, inverted CSP's. You just do not have them on the floor anymore like the CSR EP will offer.
But, to say the CSP's cant be inverted is very juvenile. AND, you do not need a +-$50 kit to do it, just time and effort. I have considered doing this myself, but I like the way they sit with the way I built my stand(Can't have a cockpit yet, live in an apartment and only have 1 nice TV in my place) This is so friends can see the TV if not racing.
Oh, and I have taken apart and put them back together several times doing small adjustments(springs, throw) to get them to my liking. 4+ times, and they still work like I never touched them.
While apart, I took throw on brake up 1 notch to shorten it.( Made it more realistic, IMHO) As you can see though, all you really have to do is switch the cables up on the PCB board next to the loadcell, then you have clutch as gas, vice versa. Just put them upside down, and inverted CSP's.
Back Together, moved clutch over 1 spot. I primarily use gas/brake to shift(let off gas to upshift, punch gas while braking to downshift. Used more on stock car application) I only use clutch to go from 1st-2nd because of worry of tire slip. Once above 60-80mph+ utilize gas/brake only for shifting. For forza, obviously must use clutch.
