Hey GTsail, should I add the scores for the lotus or bmw run? or are they still in progress?

The Lotus has finished its run.

I still expect to run the BMW Z4 in my two favorite Endurance races, though it needs to lose some horsepower since in its current tune it will overwhelm the two fields!;)

Thanks,
GTsail

Ok I have updated the lotus in post 1. Looks like broseph has a really good score but I am hopeful of the Camaro displacing him at number 1.

I have updated post #1 with your scores. You miscalculated slightly as you included suzuka 1000km and forgot to score points for each championship win. eg. if you win the clubman cups 3 races you get points for each of the 3 race wins and points again for the championship win.
I thought we were only getting points for actual races and not the championship bonuses, but they're your rules so yay more points lol :sly:

You got my credit total wrong though. You're 21,400 too high, I think you factored in one too many wins in the GTWC. It should be 3,802,410 (345,000 less than what I originally had it at)

I finished my Camaro run, and as you will see in post one, I was short of broseph by 1 point and about $100K. So close. I think the Camaro is quicker, but the subaru can compete in move events.

Also I removed the 24hr events from the list of events.

OK, here we go. Looking at the later races I decided that my base car needed to exceed 200mph in maximum tune and still be reasonable to drive. My other criteria were that it had to be new and I wouldn't be RM'ing it. So there was really only one choice at this price, the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02, which comes from the dealer with SH tyres, adjustable rear downforce and 50/50 weight distribution as stock. Pretty much the perfect starting platform. I'll fill in the blanks as I go...

Name: axletramp
All aids off/ABS1/DFGT.
Car: Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02

Tyres: SH
Parts Installed (PI): None
Remaining Budget (RB): $0

Italics indicate races yet to be run.
Races in Red have been entered but are not valid for this challenge.

I want to do this with the 350z Gran Turismo 4ltd(z33) '05.....

but maybe you should make a special leaderboard for the RM car?? they have a clear advantage being able to transform from roadcars to racecars. :)

I was thinking of the split leaderboard. But I will wait until more results are posted.

I don't think the RX-7 qualifies for the above events as it is not a compact car and not a race car but a road car :S

Sorry, I must have misinterpreted the rules. I thought you could enter any race the game would allow you to run. I ran the World Compact last night without any problems and the GT World Champ and GT Allstars have 'No Restrictions'. I would have thought I'd be at a disadvantage running in race car only events with a street car and therefore more of challenge.

I'll delete those races from my list if they are against the rules.

You can keep them in if you want and you can do them 'for the challenge' the credits and points gained from them just won't be added or used to buy upgrades.
