I'm sorry to keep on quoting you
But a rb26dett in a s14 isn't a strawberry s15
If you do a front s15 conversion on a s14
It would be a strawberry s15

Still wrong I'm afraid...

If you put an S15 nose on an S14 it would be a strawberry face S14...

The S15 nose is termed the Straberry face...

The S14 nose is termed the shark face...

i forgot it was called a kouki s14 not kenki

There is also the Zenki S14 which is the round eyed version...

;)

im all confused now.
S14 and S15 and strawberry and shark what?!?

i think we're off topic ...

Zenki S14 = early model S14 with the rounded headlights
Kouki S14 = late model with the slanted headlights (sharkface)

Better?...

and yes we are way off topic...

acually the RB26DETT is the skylines engine and I havent heard of one in a silvia of any kind. the engine for the silvia/s-13/s-14/s-15 is the SR20DET.

and i havent heard of a twin turbo silva made kown by the DE/DET/DETT DETT beeing twin turbo.

It seams you have entered the conversation a bit late... No one here is in denial of what engines come in what cars... He was refering to a swap... and yes, there are Silvias with RB26DET swaps...

have any proof links,websites,etc

i do belive its posible but its as rare as 26b's in a FD3S

P.S. a 26B is the same four rotor found in the 787B

There is a such thing as a RB26DETT swap.
But it is a very rare swap in the US.
Since most people in the US just usually do the SR20DET swaps for the 240.
Since its easier and cheaper.
A RB26DET swap will cost you around 14~15K.
But its definitely worth the money.
Also C-west did a S14 RB26 swap

http://www.c-west.co.jp/democar/s14.asp#

If that doesnt satisfy you, you can just google and something will come up.

Are you saying that the RB26 is a rotary engine... Last time i checked it wasn't...

Don't forget the ca18det, found in S13, silvias...

it Basically all depeneds on somebody's techinque o drifting...for allwe know there could be someone who actually DRIFTS FF cars beter than Most.

Well, when i first tried out drifting in GT3, I made my life harder by going straight for the settings in the depot. Most of the settings there are for seasoned drifters and i almost pulled out all my hair trying to get those cars under control.

So here is a suggestion for newborn drifters, which is FAST, CHEAP and EASY.

The car would be RX7 RZ (276 HP).
Upgrade stage 2 turbo and racing intercooler. (412 HP) [for longer drifts]
Normal front tires
Simulation rear tires
ACM TCS set to 0

Well yeah I got all of that but do I have to change any settings?

26B Dan, not RB26DETT....

haha yeah nice way to start your accounts N3wb you imbisil! get people on your bad side :( i find it a helluva lot easier to drift with a max horsepower ZZII that some other slow cars. my drifts are not real enough though i recover from backwards drifts. at angles of 95 degrees or more. stupid! i should practise more i have been OUT-OF-ACTION for close on 6 months now. too busy with socom II and NFSU HA that game is simple. the drift mode is to fake. you can do link drifting for like 6 laps its ridiculous! however that racing (arcade as it may be) is very competitive if you give them a 20second lead on hard mode.

WoW, now new drifters dont have to ask witch car is best for drifting...
I just kept practicing... the first drift car i experimented with was the skyline r32 gtst when i felt the need for a car to hold longer drifts in and better angles and faster transitions i knew i was going to need something lighter and with some more power ... so iam using a 180sx now... one thing ive learned .... you are not going to get anywhere by using other peoples setups or cars , or what they think is the best beginner drift car ... the only way your going to even earn the title as a simply put it a 'drifter' is by trial and error ... reading other peoples guides can be helpful .. but ultimately start with a grip setting ... and keep taking it down a couple of notches (each time with more added rear bias) the more rear bias and rear toe you have the faster the car will transition to a drift (but will become more difficult to hold/handle) so it's really like comparing apples to oranges ... well anyway this is more of an elitists sport it requires skill , patience, trial and error , skill , skill ... and even more skill.
