A bit confused.

I got yellow light of death earyler so I bought my brothers ps3 slim and put my GT5 save onto it. I did a system restore before. So I started GT5 and it said I have to update patch 1.06 again. But the thing is this time there are two bars and it says 1/2 above the bottom one.
I have two questions:
Does the fact that I have to download the update again mean my GT5 save has not transferred properly?

And why is there two update bars?

It's installing 2 updates, it will install 1.05 first, and then it will update to 1.06.
