I started this thread in the GTF too. It was a good idea, so i'll start it here. :D

Anywho, if you have questions, ask them here, and hopefully someone will answer them.

I got a question.

- How do i beat the "Paparazzi Purge" mission? The police boat is too slow and i can't get close enough to get good damge done with the cannons.

I think you mean too fast :p or otherwise you could just ram it.

What i did was just keep firing when they are in front of me, did plenty of damage that way, no matter how far away they were

No the police boat is what you're in, theres is way faster.

With me he started to crash and slow down near the arch next to the mafia guys house so I just got lucky I guess.

oh i see, but thats the strategy that i used forall boat missions though :)

Yeah thats a good strategy coz the guns aren't accurate or very powerful, in fact they're pretty crappy.

I tried that the very first time, but instead of sniping I went rocket launchin'...:D One hit with the rocket launcher makes the damage level go to the half-way mark(if not further), but like 2 seconds later it says you failed the mission because he gets too far away from the docks, at least that's what always happened to me...:nervous:


Just get in the police boat, keep the boats gun firing non-stop, and follow him until his boat blows up...
 
Also, when you see him going around the rock islands, go the other way and he'll cross in front of you. You'll have a nice boat-side to shoot at.

yeah like josh said, don't shoot him before you get into a boat, it causes him to run, and you end up failing the mission.
 
Try to push his boat onto the beach... Thats what i did... then you can just get out of yours run him down and shoot him.

Watch out though, the boats explode when on land to long.

Ok, how about the mission where you're supposed to pick up the packages that the plane drops in to the sea... I always miss those packages with that speeder.. That pos won't even turn properly.. Will the wanted level go to 0 stars when I have picked up all the packages, or will I have to drive back to Donald with 6 stars??
 
just stay right behind the plane and drive at the same speed as it - then you cant miss. You can turn them off once you're out but its only FBI so I normally drive there with them on.
 
Ok, forget it, after enough tries I finally managed to complete the mission, with only 2 of health remaining.. And I even got an FBI car out of it! That sure was rewarding, my hands are still shaking after that chase :)
