Am I the only person who thinks that video games are a waste of your life?
Yes, they are fun, but spending hours a day playing and reading about video games is kind of sad.
I used to be obsessed with playing ps3 all day and checking gtplanet every 5 mins, but now I think that video games have become too much of an intrusion in my life.

I mean, seriously, grown men playing video games all day? Is there really nothing better to do? Video Games have been taken too far, amiright?

For playing games as a waste of time:

I did go out during years. Going parting every day in the week, never watching TV, playing videogames, never being at home....
And that my pal was a waste of time, health, and money.
Sure it was fun, but i did too much and only remember a fraction of it, and din´t get anything out of it
It´s the same with everything whether it be games, party, alcohol, drugs,....
don´t exagerate it.
My old school principal said : "You do need to know how to manage"
And you fine with everything as long as you don´t do it all the time. Find the right middle.
Playing games, going out, drinking... ain´t bad as long as you don´t do it all day, every day in a week.

Partaking in any form of entertainment "all day" leads to wasting time. Wow. Epic discovery, OP, and one that certainly requires a thread because it wouldn't be obvious to everyone.

Seriously, if you play a game or read or smoke X drug all day long chances are you're doing it wrong. Doing it right, i.e. in some form of moderation that leads to harmony within your life rather than your life being dominated by X, is fine for men and women of all ages. If you don't see that it's probably because you used to be so focused on your PS3 that you didn't bother thinking about this sort of thing much.

Edit: Oh, well... tell it to the 12 year old then. Ooops.

Edit: Kind of makes you wonder how some 12 year old kid instantly made a reference to a specific mod, though. And on a website he's only at while you're AFK... Wonder how he pulled that off, hmm?

He had an account here, he used to play gt4 on ps2 and always used this website for guides etc. and he got banned late last year, he went crazy and smashed my ps3, the little bastard had to pay for it though, but now he hates famine as he got his account banned after an argument, so now he just decided to use my account to spam useless topics.

The reason he spammed it is because I was supposed to meet some friends but running late and I forgot to turn off my computer.
