So my friend received his GT3RS with clubsport pedals, and turns out there's something loose in his wheel too...

He said the woman dropped the box from 2 feet from the ground right in front of him when she delivered it, so that might be the cause of the problem. He didn't know if he should return it or not, because he tried it and it worked fine but the loose part is really bothered him, and it might get caught in the belt later on so he decided to fill an RMA and get it replaced.

I really recommend Fanatec to make the packaging stronger to avoid damage during shipping, because this is getting ridiculous. Also, still to reply on day 3 (do they work on the weekends?).

Another thing I'd like to point out, the manual you can download on the site could be improved. It doesn't go over all the modes (only FFB, vibration and sensitivity), and doesn't mention anything about firmware updates. The fact that new firmware gets released on a blog isn't very professional. It would be nice if the firmware could get updated simply by using the PC driver.

So two points I think they really need to work on (read this Fanatec):

1. User friendliness (a big one). Better manual, easier firmware updates, etc. You have no idea how confused my friend was trying to set up his wheel (modes, firmware update, driver installation, etc).

2. Customer service and shipping. I know you don't have full control over shipping, but the amount of damaged products that people receive is unacceptable. For customer service, I heard good things, but it's pretty slow.
