Hey everyone I am new to the forums, but have been playing GT3 for about a year now. Me and my brother love to race against each other using mainly A class cars. I always love to use cars like the Skyline, NSX, RX-7, meanwhile he always picks cars like the Corvette Z06, RUF RGT, those high horsepower cars.

It seems almost impossible for me too win! Does anyone have any tips on how to beat those high horse power cars with the lower horsepower ones?

Thanks.

Become a better driver by racing more or get a car of comparable horsepower and see who really is the better driver.

I do a fair amount of racing with Arcade cars and can tell you that the 276bhp cars are not a match for the more powerful ones. The R-GT is probably the quickest in class, closely followed by the TVR. The Z06 is next best. Then comes the quickest of the 276ers, the NSX.

One thing you might try is turning Tire wear on. The more powerful cars are likely to wear their tires first.

Otherwise the only way to win with a slower car is to out-drive your brother. Consider taking part in some OLR, like the Weekly Race Series to hone your skills.

Turning Tire Wear on won't help that much. A class and under lose approximately 2 or 3 seconds par lap. No stop needed in that case, the more powerful cars are still in front.

Theres no subsitute for good race lines my friend, so thats where you can nab him. I know how you feel about your brother beating you, I have a 14 year old bro(im 21) and he beats me at most, because he started Video games at a younger age. He doesnt beat me at GT though!!

Also if your close to him going into a corner, plough into him and use him to help steer!! :sly:

the fastest line through a corner is a straight one the faster you memorize the track the the sooner you'll beat him and even if your right behind him just you being there will put the pressure on then just wait for the mistake and take him and last but not least learn the handling quirks of the cars

The RGT and Z06 are simply better cars than the Skyline, RX7, and NSX. But...if you're better than your brother you may be able to beat his Vette in an NSX-R or S. If not, then go to sim mode and do a few drivetrain upgrades, then try it again. If you want to beat him on skill alone, you've got quite a job cut out if he's any good at GT3. Just remember to brake in a straight line and don't hit the wall on the way out of corners. Otherwise...take a try in the RGT yourself. But...whatever you do, have fun and good luck.

stay behind him and when he is braking hard for a slow corner ram into his bumper, if you time it right he should slide out of control off the track or into a wall. :) 👍

Be smoother than him and learn to drive with out traction control. The higher power cars have a harder time getting traction.
