Guys pls help i have has this problem for a long time now never got a fix i have tried changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 and I also have deleted the GT5 game utility, but none of these have work do you guys have any solutions that might help me if you do please let me now,I will give info. If needed
This is what happens EVERYTIME I go on the game it loads everything and before it gets to the main menu it stops for about 5 seconds and says " A connection to the server could not be established":ouch::nervous::grumpy::indiff:

Personally any time I have used Google's free DNS servers they have been abysmally poor, just use your ISP default ones. Could maybe try putting your PS3 in the DMZ if you can configure your router to do that.

I would like to try that, I have heard if it before but I don't now how to do it do you now how I can do that? Ty

If you are using Windows, open a dos window. start>run> type in "cmd".

Then type "ipconfig /all" at the command prompt.

Yea, even the games running slow for me. Also, just got an ID=1:536 as opposed to the 2:12??

I think I got that one also. We'll just have to wait it out and hopefully it doesn't turn into something serious like the last time.

Seems to be pretty widespread. Just hope its nothing serious.

If its as widespread as it seems, I think that is a small bit unlikely. But lets hope anyway... In the mean time, lets sit back, twiddle our thumbs and watch the Hybrid Trading thread go into chaos

Hapened here as well no hybrid cars in my garage and im in thr middle.east so it is a server global shutdown lets hope hybrid cars goes bye bye ;)
