Hey people , I have a rather kewl idea. A GT game that you can edit the look of your car...spoilers; race paint; sponsor stickers..and therefore you can make your very own race car, that would look nothing like your friend's. That would make multi player games even more phun.

Also, it would be leet to be able to edit the car's names. eg, OOSACKER's Castrol RX-7 ....Make it so that you have to have the actual car name in it to keep the car companies happy.

What do ya reckon? :rolleyes:
 
It would be good only if the car's were real, otherwise you'd end up with Ridge Racer look-a-likes! :eek: You could use established styling and tuning houses, although I quite like the idea of re-engineering the car - take an existing model, put it in a wind tunnel, play with downforce/aerodynamics/ground effects, try out tyres/wheel widths/track etc.

Plenty of possibilties... now the hard bit - getting the car manufacturers to agree to it!! :rolleyes:

Kinda like SportsCar GT (PC-game).....Yeah, now this is fun :D
 
That would be pretty cool... That way, most people wouldnt have any of the same cars. It really could be an option if manufacturers would agree with it. Have a mapping program opn your computer, and sharkport it to the "hopefully released soon" Hard Drive. Who knows nowadays what'll happen =/
 
body kits would be nice but sponsor stickers wouldnt be a good idea because of copyright issues and you have to pay for them or atleast pd does.
 
What you describe is Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero. Only problem is the physics are not up to par with GT but still a fun game!

The only problem with TXR:Z is that the cars are fake. They just made up the cars physics and made it look like it was a brand name car....Thats why they didnt have to get a contract with the car companies
 
Here's another cool idea!

A rally event where you are up against 50 or more rally cars!
It would be really cool driving your way to the front of the pack.... and not to mention.... a RALLY ENDURANCE race with 100 laps around Swiss Alps... COOL!!! :p :p :p
 
Yeah, that would be great. Or this: A gameconsole with DVD-player, and a racegame where you can get your driverlicense....And depending on your license you can race and win money to buy other (faster) cars, o no, wait, you should even can buy parts to upgrade your car....Now, that would be cool........and..........Mmmmmmmm.................wait.................Ooooops............ ;) :p :D :lol: :smilewink :rotfl: 💡
 
rally event w/ 50 or more cars? - sounds like rally cross, but it has less cars
