St Anger is a top album - the heaviest album "they've" done.

A couple of mediocre tracks - but on the whole fantastic - full of anger and power.

Been a fan since "Kill em all" came out when I was sweet 16.

Heaviest thing they've ever done!

Wayyy off topic but are you kidding me?? *hearing the whinning saint anger song echoing in his head again* That album was terrible and no way the heaviest!! If you want the heaviest then pick up and actually listen to "And Justice for All".
 
I've had "and justice for all" - best track - "To Live is To Die" for about 15 years - St Anger is way way heavier! Metallica themselves say that St Anger is their heaviest and most aggressive album ever - hence the title.

As I've listened to ".... and Justice for all" about 500 times I think I'm pretty used to it by now.

Well as long as everyone eles is talking about it, I might as well say this. Metallica SUCKS!!!
 
Hey - "one" from ".... and justice for all" is one of the best tracks ever written by any band.....period!
 
Thanks, Camaroboy69. No matter how much I listen to that song, it doesn't appeal to me. I try to like it, But I can't.
St. Anger just isn't a top album. And if it was, it would have sold over 5 Million copies in the first 7 weeks of release , which is damn-near impossible nowadays with p2p piracy existing. I'm not the type of guy that likes the albums with the demo-quality music in it like st. anger. My personal best metallica cd is there self-titled cd (The Black Album). But if you don't metalllica, That's fine with me. Not many people like Metal nowadays, which by the way has alot more energy and drama in it then lil' jon and the east side boys will ever have. Rock and Metal is obviously more superior than hip hop.

But I have to agree with camaroboy69 (again), we are way off topic.
Let's get back on topic.

btw, I love ....And Justice For All. There second best and heaviest cd in my opinion.
