Also, last night i noticed links in the text of peoples posts. At first I thought it was spyware or something, but it is doing it at work too.

Dquan, those words that are in people's posts acting as hyperlinks are advertisements that have been added. Those new advertisements are good for Jordan because ad blockers can't block them!

Adblock for Firefox can block them quite easily. The only ads I see when logged off (with Adblock activated) are the text ads that seperate the stickies and the normal threads.

Also, Jordan, do the ads just have to appear for you to get the money, or do people have to click them?

I don't understand why you guys use those ad-blockers! They are just banner ads. The banner ads are nowhere near as annoying as pop-ups. When you block them, people don't make money either.

er... because they're equally annoying, perhaps?

Because it's annoying to see "Hit the target, get a PS3!!!" or "Enter your birthday, and we'll predict your future!" or "Next gen smilies, be cool and get 'em while they last" or any stupid crap like that. And the page loads faster, and looks cleaner without them.
