Seen some prices elsewhere, probably not confirmed yet but for context:

Rennsport Standard Version will cost €69.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
Rennsport Standard Version will cost €59.99 on PC
Rennsport Deluxe Version will cost €79.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
Rennsport Deluxe Version will cost €69.99 on PC

That's a hefty price for so comparatively few cars and tracks.

I think their console market reach will be limited when there's about a dozen games that have "GT3 cars and modern racing circuits" out there.

I think they would do better if they released the game in a free-to-play model.
Agree if those prices are correct, at least we're getting a demo, even on console according to Overtake.gg, I think?:

"Rennsport Demo Content

If you do not want to jump straight into Rennsport by spending money on a full release, a demo with the title's existing free-to-play content will also exist allowing you to give the title's physics a go in both single- and multi-player modes.

As part of the Demo version of Rennsport, you get access to the Hockenheimring and the BMW M2 CS Racing. PC users that download the demo can later choose to buy the base version of the game to simply open up access to the remaining dozen cars and tracks whilst console users will have to access their platform's store to purchase it separately."

The "Classes" are also questionable because as far as I can tell:

LMDH/Hypercar: 2 cars
GT3: 5 (6 counting the Pre-Order Mustang.)
GT4: 2
TCR: 2

That seems like 4 classes to me. Even if somehow the 911 GT3 Cup and M2 CS Racing are counted as one makes, that's 6. where's that 7th class?

As I said before, they aren't exactly offering anything substantially compelling other then Checks Notes a Porsche 911 GT3R "Rennsport" (Because lol, get it?). I'm still not seeing what someone should find interesting about this over a frankly more fleshed out and assembled Project Motor Racing.

I should add that the PS Store blurb still says 25 cars.

Yikes.

Although it does say 12 tracks...

They’d do better to have more TCR cars to grab console players.
That would be heaven, just various TCR classes through the years!

These devs need to learn the business-101 concept Unique Selling Point....and some distended subscription model does NOT count!

Oh right, I entirely forgot that this game is still a thing. Wasn't it initially proposed with NFT integration, too?

It honestly feels like pure ass to drive on any wheel I've used so far. Very floaty and numb, something very off with the physics considering it's meant to be a full-blown sim.

Sorry but not sorry, I'm speaking from personal racing experience accross various disciplines IRL.

Verdict: meh.

So much for "Professional Drivers confirm that real life sensations are faithfully reproduced". Granted I don't know how Professional you are but this game makes it so easy to dunk on (Granted, pushing an NFT was always a great way for me to invite folks to join in the mudhole stomping)

I can't recall the last racing game I saw where the amount of cars & the amount of tracks are nearly identical.

But like... what can you do in it?
Devs got some serious work with that question floating over their heads. If they themselves cannot answer that question, especially to someone new who is likely seeing some similar titles, they've failed. Say what you will about Ian Bell and co, but I least have an idea as to what I can do in Project Motor Racing.

Putting the green hell behind a paywall... nice. Unimpressed with the content and the snide DLC choice, great start! This game would have to have the best gameplay ever to balance the equation.
