Ok, I know I haven't had the best of relations with you mods, but my attitude has undergone a bit of a change, so please bear with me. I am now a reasonable, intelligent non-argument starting person...

To that end, just a couple of suggestions:

First, start a forum for talking about the game's issues. This will take it out of the main forum, let everyone have some breathing room and if they don't want to talk about it, they won't have to see it. This might improve forum relations between members dramatically.

Second, start a forum for individual cars. Each individual car could have it's own thread and new posts and questions could be added in that thread rather than starting a new one. It might make it easier for people and reduce some of the redundant posting you guys get.

So there they are, and if they have merit, you can take them or leave them. Here's to new beginnings...

The "Y is ther no PRSHE in GT5?" threads can go there - cause it can't fit in one of the 1000 threads about each individual car :p

A subforum dedicated to complaints has been suggested before, and I'm still on the fence about it. It would be both good and bad.

Are you suggesting a forum for individual car threads within the context of tuning?

I think a complaints forum would clean up the GT5 section a bit, but it would likely be a cesspool of idiocy.

Perhaps a sub-sub forum for tuning. As needed, members could start a thread for X2010, another for the Veyron, another for the Superbird, etc... At max you would end up with 1031 threads in it. :) Require the title to be the same as in the game to keep it neat...

As for the complaint forum, I had thought it more to discuss the issues, but I can see it rapidly degenerating into that. The point is to get it out of the main forum though so REAL issues could be discussed.

Better to have them all in one spot, instead of being spread across two or three sub forums like they are now.

I don't visit the GT5 section nearly as much as I used to, due to the large number of pro/anti patch threads and the hostility and idiocy contained within them.
I think these threads are starting to affect my will to even play that game anymore.

Why don't we make the complaints forum link to 4chan? Everyone will be happy... the people who always complain have left the site thinking they're still there. And members who don't want/can't be bothered to complain can just stay away from that link :p

^^^ Speaking of cesspools, I think we have a winner! 👍
