They crush cars in California for "street racing". I applaud it 90% of the time, simply because "street racing" is for complete morons, and they don't deserve a car to begin with. But, seeing some rare parts on the cars does make me wish they wouldn't get crushed. Oh, and it turns out that a vast majority of "street racers" use stolen parts. Serves them right to lose their car, AND get served with massive fines.
None of those car were rare, its not like the world has lost out on something that can't be replaced. Having said that, i'd have taken the engines off their hands first if they'd bothered to ask me.
