If you enter a race where tire wear is off (no tire indicators in the bottom left screen) Do your tires go through the same process of warming up and getting too warm and slippery, or are they at their optimal performance the entire race?

Also when you use you garage on Arcade mode does it retain the tire selection you had in simulation mode. If so again do the tires warm up throughout or stay at their optimal performance zone the entire race?

Definitely Optimal performance for the entire race. Sometimes I go into system shock when I go from racing the same car in arcade, and then go to a pro race, and can't handle as well until lap 2 or whenever it heats up.
I think I would prefer that it warm up even when tire wear is off.

Everywhere ive gone ppl have said the tyres are always best when they are blue though its a complete lie

I love it just after the cars tyres have just gone from green to yellow.

This is the time i start killing my lap records for tracks and really catching the opposition

I think in arcade mode the tyres should all be Super Slicks so they should take Ages to heat up adn give no advantage

You think the Arcade mode puts Superslicks on even if you have softer tires on the car in the Simulation mode?

Anybody else have anyidea what tires get used on Arcade mode?

It should be set like that so you dont really have much of an advantage meaning it would be a little harder to win each race.

The wet races would be made even more difficult with hard tyres because of the little grip they provide.

It would make the game that little bit better

On arcade presently i feel the tyres used are the Normal tyres in a GREEN worn area so youve got almost optimol grip all through the race

If you set your car to wear "supersoft tyres" in simulation mode, will they also be on the car, when racing multiplayer....(or will the setting automaticly be set to "medium tyres"?????
