False advertising. 👎

I assume that you took those pictures, as that is the point of this section? If so, they are both fairly out of focus and the noise is... well, noisy and distracting.

False advertising! I demand my money back.... oh wait, I never spent any....

From a technical stand point refer to TB's comments. What camera are you using? Is it a point and shoot or a DSLR?

I'm not really ornithology inclined but they are nice looking birds.

False advertising....pah!!! Just thoght I would inject a little humor into this section, as I know how seriously some of you guys like to take this subject. :)

In response to your questions. The first one was a half decent compact digital out in the garden (yes slightly out of focus and suffers from noise also) I think it was overcast and I didnt use a flash at all, the second was taken in the park using a fairly basic camera phone. Yes they are nice looknig birds (im not a bird watcher myself but we tend to get these sorts of birds regularly, quite friendly too!!)

I have got a few other much nicer shots of various subjects which I will post somewhere at some stage.

Well get them posted up!

Oh and we are all for comedy around here, full points for eye catching thread title.

Even better than the "Hot set of knockers" thread from a few years ago. Though I doubt it will be as easy for this thread to descend into pun hell as that one did, sadly enough.

You said you didn't use the flash, good, you're not supposed to use it in those conditions. Also, I think you cropped them too much. And they are verry noise and unsharp, practice more, and more, and more, it's worth it!

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice man, yes unfortunately they are rather poor even I admit that, thanks for the advice anyhow. I will if I get the opportunity try to re-shoot if I see these birds so they are better quality.

In addition to this I have started posting to a new separate thread with much better quality pics than these, please feel free to take a look at these too.
