and i think you should judge it by speed... fastest lap time wins... (that's just my opinion)
 
ok dude....why would you call it a speed drifting battle??
why not just say this;
a battle with cars that mucst be over 350hp, without tcs/asm and with sims.
theres your challenge

3.) The whole concept of speed drifting is just plain retarded. It's like saying you wanna kill innocent people so you can go to heaven.

Speed + Drifting=antithetical

How would you even score a speed drifting battle? Do you score it on who has a faster time or who has the best style? Since drifting is all about style then the best style should win, but that would defeat the purpose of racing in the first place. This is why they don't have Drift Races in real life.

Ok. Now let me explain this diagram and explain how physics works. We'll assume these are RWD cars.

The rear tires are spinning trying to push the car forward. When sideways, they push in the direction the arrows are pointing. The red car is speed drifting. The blue car is exhibition drifting. Now notice their angles.

In order for a speed drifter to be faster, he'll have to lower his angle. The reason for this is the lower the angle, the more the rear wheels are pushing the car in the direction of the turn. Hence, the more speed you'll have.

Now the lower your angle, the less drifting you're actually doing. For you to go faster than before, you'll have to decrease your angle each time.


Make sense now? I tried to keep this kinda basic.

Dude, I've seen a COMPETITION video of you, and it was pathetic. If you can't produce something at least decent for a competition, why are so great? My half-assed b.s. laps are better than that crap you put out.
 
oh and please dont start to argue in my thread okay. i didnt come back for this. i just want the battle. thats all so i guess you guys can calm down now. every has their own style, but there comes a time when you must push to the limit and if you aint got what it takes than you outs. i just wanna see your techniques other than making a car go side ways through a corner.

what i mean is how your entry method works and how you keep you line and yep all that good stuff. i wanna see if you can handle its. anyone can hold a car in an side ways motion through a corner. really its not hard at all. but maintaining speed and clearing the corner at a desire speed is a different story.

the other reason why i fully tune my cars is that i go for speed and i would want my car to be at its best when i race it. especially cause if you have limited upgrades the other people can equip extra parts to make their car better than yours. it also marks how far your skills can go too. for example if you cant advance your times than you just suck. but if the car is just stock you have more excuses to keep yourself looking good.

well dont lye to yourself it long make things worst.
