ok, so i was looking at the stratefy guide they have for gt4p here in japan. I noticed there was a porche in one of the pictures...I took a photo of it but i dont know where to host it or how to put it up here. anyone wanna hook me up?

I do agree with you though - looks like a stock car...maybe a Carerra 2...Carerra 4 possibly.

Would be sweet to see some of the cars in the game that we haven't gotten yet - Lamboroghini, Porsche, Ferrari, etc. Not that I'm upset with the lineups so far, but how many Silvia and Skyline variants does a guy need?

I'll be a monkey if that's a DB7.
It could easily be a RUF or Porsche from that view with all the people in the way. And as Live said, it could easily just be someones car, which actually wasn't participating in the test for Polyphony and Kaz and his team.

Probably just belongs to someone working on the game... even if they use it for testing, it might be to get an approximation of the handling of the RUFs...

In any case, it might have been easier to get their hands on a stock 996 than a (presumably rarer) RUF.

wouldn't you think that if that porsche was owned by one of them that they would be civil and park it in the parking lot intead of right in the middle of the track.....and also, hope for the best not for the worst. I'd rather assume that it's a porsche for testing.

Not really, I've seen many a time when someone who's in charge or part of an important team have just parked as close to wherever they are going as possible, also there might be someone in it, on the other hand it could belong to a guy that works at the track. This knd of speculation is pointless, it could be one of a thousand things and only a couple of thoes would indicate it would be in GT4.

Actually that porche looks like it about to race. If you look closely at the right of the pic u see a blue car maybe a wrx or impreza. Just a thought. or maybe a blue evo or lancer , personally i dont see the differance between evos and lancers.

That "blue" car is a Subaru WRX STi, older model.

Yeah it looks like an Impreza, and the EVO is a Lancer, it's the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. There is a couple of Lancers without the Evo badge if I remeber correctley but generally thats how it is.
That still doesn't mean anything though, neither are on the track, neither are facing the track, neither are lined up ready to go onto the track, neither have anyone or any testing equiptment ariound them. I could be wrong but I'm guessing that neither are there to be tested as in all the testing video's all thoes cars are parked together.
