Does anyone have a tuning guide for the Audi TT-R touring car?

I don't understand how the suspension/gearing work in this game, and I wanna do the DTM championship, does anyone have a guide or something?

With NA tuning stage 3 and oil change:

brake balance: 4 / 4

springs: 7.8 / 4.6
ride height: 90 / 95
bounds: 2 / 2
rebounds: 2 / 5
camber: 1.4 / 1.8
toe: 0 / 0
stabilisers: 2 / 6

gears: final to 5.000, then auto to 1, then final to 3.200, then set individual ratios to 2.884, 2.096, 1.727, 1.435, 1.207, 1.024

downforce: 38 / 48

LSD initial: 5
LSD accel: 60
LSD decel: 5

ASM (understeer + oversteer): 0
TCS: 0 or 1

The stock TT-R setup has chronic off-throttle understeer; this undoes that while still trying to keep it stable through corners.

Is NA tuning better than the turbo because it has a better power curve? I'm assuming stage 3 turbo has long turbo lag

Pretty much yeah. The stage 3 turbo is kind of redunant for the TT-R, it makes 21hp less and also ìmpacts low-RPM torque by quite a bit. Stage 4 is overkill unless you're against prototypes (and even then I feel like it's track-dependent, NA tuning works just fine for city tracks).

The TT-R touring car has a 6-speed transmission, though you said only 5 gears, is there a TT-R that isn't touring? And gears 4 and 5 can't go as low as you said.

My bad, I forgot to add 4th gear, edited my original post.

Also, why isn't rear downforce max? Does it cause understeer?
Yeah it does. The TT-R has 100 / 107 grip modifiers in its SpecDB chassis stats, it's extremely rear grip-biased. Lowering the rear downforce does impact its stability and tyre wear somewhat, but the extra rotation is worth the cost.
