ok I'm trying to tune my Lotus Elise 111S ('03) for Nurb... I've read a few guides even the one on this site and I'm new on the subject of tunning my car, to me it's all guess work but I'm trying to figure it out so I can tune it without someone's help.

The problem I'm having at the moment is this, the car turns fine, very nice in fact, so maybe it's me just trying to take the turns to fast just to see if I can, but the car seems to spin out real easy and the car seem bouncy.

I've messed with a few options, mostly ride height and springs it's helped some but it's still there, so I need some help?

Thanks in advance!

because the elise has such a short wheelbase it is very unstable at mid to higher speeds, try adding weight balance to the front for more high speed stability, then work the suspension around that.

A suspention thats too stiff will cause the car to bounce.

I have My Elise set up verry nice and she corners like she is on rails, I'll post the settings when I get home (not to rule out your tunning, but to give you a working set to base or compare your findings)

agreed. maybe try taking it easy and slowly moving up to a suitable race pace. if this remains a problem, keep your ride height under 20mm from minimum level and make sure that the suspension isnt too soft. NOTE: any changes you make to better the car in one way will have a negative reaction some other way. you are going to have to play around with spring rate, toe, camber, bound, rebound etc. the car will only perform as well as you hope when you get a set-up you like (believe me getting the Ruf RGT dialed in took me a week!) anywho, good luck man, this'll be a long arduous (sp.??) process.
