Lol.....Huzba is mad because we just proved he can't really drift his cavalier....Lol j/k man.....But yeah.....FF drifting isn't drifting..it's azz dragging...RWD drifts look nice..AWD drifts look nice..FWD drifts look like the car is straining just to maintain working order..

Well I would have to say that ff drifting is easy I mastered it on the lisence test in 2 with some well diserved soda and a bag of chips plus some time and retrying the test over and over and over oh yah did I mention over?

I think I found a way to slide in a ff car with out tail-draging. It still uses the E-brake but it's not tail-draging though. So, what you do is go in reverse, then engage the e-brake to keep stability, then yank it into the turn a little bit then countersteer. You have to hold down the look-back button, and remember that your directions are reversed. It's also good to tune the gears to have a long reverse ratio to achieve a good speed (via the final drive) and have enough hp to overcome the e-brake.

My need to prove there was a way to drift ff cars, and my extreme lack of sleep inspired this while I was trying to coaks an FTO into a non-tail-drag drift, after all it's not a tail-drag if your pushing the tail instead.

I have achieved this, sort of successfully twice.

hahaha.... now that is as some one else kindly put ( when talking about fr drifting) d*ck puching... the thing about ff is that a set of tires is always doing nothing but supporting the car...

Gee what's wrong with you people? Why can't you accept FF... it hasn't done anything to offend you! FF is just a bit different from the others. Is this xenophobia? It sure seems like it. In japan and europe all drivetrains are treated as equal. Why are you putting down FF? In japan FFs drift alongside 4WDs and FRs. Integras are really common in the drift scene. A professional FF driver would punch you all in the face for calling him/her an ass dragger.

And about that dragging: i did explain the difference in traction and direction of the force moving the car (grip vs drift)

Lol..I own a FF car..And I love FF..but FF doesn't drift....Face it..It azz drag's..it doesn't drift....It can do nothing but send it's back end around and decelerate like crazy..Then you have to release the brake and add gas..oh no..No more drift..

i dont think i was insulting ff as a drivetrain... it has itws purposes or it wouldnt be in production today... its an alternative for rally... and makes extremeley economical way of driving... ff will never be as agile as fr... although it can be tuned to remain neutral and some cars... such as the celica ( i drive an old gs sometimes)... have extremeley well handling stock.... and you cant beat its gas mileage... but i still find fr more thrilling in real life as well as in gt3... simply because of what i believe it can do... never driven 4wd in real life... cept for SUV's but those dont count

Leeth......In real life you can't..so if you can't in real life...Then technically you can't REALLY drift in any other environment..Even if it is possible on a VIDEO GAME

Right, so if FR drifting is in a video game it just cant be possible in real life?

Yeah it sucks and everybody likes FR drift better but its different.....

And it is done in real life, the Japanese are crazy and have drifted FF, it seems huzba knows mroe about it then i do...

Lol.....Lee...FR drifting is Real life..And is emulated in A video game...FF cannot drift especially WITHOUT ebraking...And is just apparent in a video game

I've watched many many FR drift videos, and in most of them the driver use the ebrake, now do people tell them that theyre ass dragging when they do that?

let me put it this way.... i/you can slide with ff... but never drift... your back wheels have no input so there is no way except for slip angle to control traction... and with a slip angle that loosens grip on the back wheels...( without ebrake).... the front end also looses grip without any input... therefor you are sliding not drifting....

ff has its purpose... and makes dirt or other terain driving easier than rwd... and some may argue easier than 4wd...

no one says get rid of ff... you just have to drive it different... no showy drifts cause its not gonna happen... no late braking cause that is only gonna make you slide and loose speed... if you can tune the ff car to a neutral state... an extermely difficult and time consuming task... esp in a video game and in real life ( expensive in reality as you have to experiment)... with a neutral setup and proper racing techniques for ff... a 4 wheel drift (the true racing drift) can be achieved... no or little smoke will be achieved but speed with be... this is the purpose of ff... and y they do not belong in a "drifters only page" when discussing anything excepting the proper use of hte phrase 4 wheel drift... which i have noticed occurs rarely

No one said get rid of FF..FF kicks bootay..I love my civic..I can out offroad my friends bronco no problem...Asside stuff like rock climing and what not..but rally cross style..I can take out most of the cars in the area..

well lets just say that isnt the only way to do it MAN.... dont start doing that insulting fr cause you are bitter... get over it... its ok if ff cant drift... life follows laws... the laws of physics.... if you really think ff can drift draw a FBD man... and try and prove it to me logically... and not with a video game... please do so without use of ebrake... i'm doing stuff ( i.e. design projects) with 4wd and fr just cause when i did a FBD i didnt like what i saw with ff.. for reasons i have stated above

Ive never really put FF and offroad together before but it makes sence. I think FR drifting is easier and more fun so ill stick with FR, altho im down to 60k creds from 3mil creds on drift cars.

I would if i had skill and a liscense, i wasnt insulting FR drift because ive almost never used the ebrake in one of my FR drifts. Power over all teh way! :D

yeah Leet...You're right ALOT of inexperienced drifters do use the e-brake .but the point is..In a RWD Car...It's not REQUIRED..it's avoidable with different approaches..in FWD IRL a E-brake is a necessity

oh man i went down from 7 mill to zip... all i was doing was winning cars and soupin them up to my drift specs... some experiment needed at first but not much... only cars i bought were some japanese rockets which include a couple tme evo6's andcars you cannot win... i want two of the same car different color... so i think i will eventually have to use both of my memcards....

oh ok... thought you were gonna go huzba on me.... new he wasnt tellin the whole story about his ff drifts when he got all defensive on me... well not on me but yeah.... sorry if i over reacted lol... but i tend to do that... hence my babaling

I still want more cars heh, ive already got like 3 drift FCs, 2 Drift FDs, 4 ae86's, a buncha evos, and a few cars i bought to do races with and etc and etc.

I need to buy a silvia, haventhad one yet except for the weird aero one...
