ive got an 85 mitsubishi pajero short wheel base with a late 90's 3.5litre v6 instead of the 2.6litre 4 cyl donk and im doing up an 82 landcruiser.

why dont HSV give me a new 300kW coupe for nothing? :lol:

i bought a nissan patrol 4.2litre straight 6 turbo diesel. should be better than the old 4litre donk dont ya think?

Glad you didn't buy the whole Patrol, I'm under the impression that (even though we don't have them in the US) they're complete junk, right?
 
nah the patrols are great cars. big torquey motors like the cruisers. the new ones have a turbo'd 4.8 straight 6 which puts out nearly 200kW. who told you they were junk?
 
Well, they seem quite dated, don't you think?

Seems like there are better options for SUVs.
 
yeah but SUV's cant go where patrols and cruisers go. id rather have a big grunt straight 6 and the knowledge that your motor can pull you anywhere, wouldnt you?
