A penalty when crashed?

This is pure speculation on my part but with the looooong development time this iteration has undergone I am assuming that a tone of that time has been spent working out the online issues.

After 3 fantastic games I don't thing PD is going to let online play be the downfall of the series. There is a lot to consider and I'm confident that they will do a nice job with the online aspect.

If EA can implement something to prevent backwards drivers, I'd sure as heck hope pd can pull it off!

I hope I have broadband by release time:mad:
 
As long as the AI of the computer cars is up to scratch I'm happy to have the penalty, although I'd prefer a stop / go penalty to a rev limiter, with an automatic disqualification if you fail to pit. IMO it'd be more realistic.

I'd hate to be penalised because the stoopid computer cars have smashed me into the wall!
