A question about the one a day gift/trade thing.

What's this exactly? I keep seeing people say they have to wait 24 hours until they can do another. Why is this?

I mean, I'll admit, I've been doing the birthday thing on a different profiles to get some cars I wanted. When I have actually got lucky and the ones I wanted appeared I've then sent them to my main PSN profile. I've been sending numerous gifts to it each day (cars/paints) from the same profiles I've been using. I've even traded with someone here and also sent gifts from my main profile to friends. at no point have I not been able to send more than one a day from any of the profiles.

What's the deal here?

I created this here because, well, you folks must obviously know. And an answer is wanted >_>

It's tied to your save file. You could send multiple cars because every time you do, you delete your game save.

Not only that, but he is using a different account each time. You can RECEIVE as many cars as you want per day, but you can only SEND 1 per day.

Well that's a bit stupid isn't it? Why on earth have they done that?

It's weird, right. They encourage us to use their community feature and limit it at the same time 👎 . Also, the birthday gift is a very nice thought but poorly executed. Now you see 20 mil cars everywhere.
 
One a day though. They should at least make it 2 a day just in case you screw up on one and need to do it again.
